Dalesplay provides a flexible service, whether you are a working parent or require a nursery place to give you some time and your child the social benefits nursery provides. Feedback and communication are vital to ensure your child receives the best possible care and education so every day you will receive a written report on your child’s progress and their day. Staff are always on hand to discuss your child’s needs or any concerns you may have.
Dalesplay is a light and airy building comprising of an open plan layout. We have a room for 0-2year olds, (Cuddles), and a room for children who are over 2 years, (Kidzone). Both rooms have resources suitable for their age and stage of development to help them to learn and develop new skills whilst offering fun activities as well as somewhere to chill out when needed. The children have access to outdoor provision where they can learn and investigate their surroundings. We provide all children with a healthy breakfast, morning and afternoon snack and evening meal depending on the hours attended.
As far as possible, we aim to follow home routines and meet any additional requirements your family may have through the ‘home to nursery diary’. This will be discussed during the induction and registration. As apart of this process you will need to complete relevant forms and documentation. This will help us to ensure that we provide the best care possible for your child in a safe stimulating environment.
Upon, enrolment, you will also be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £20, then £10 annually (November).
Dalesplay operates an ‘open door’ policy. This means that, with prior notice and/or appointment if necessary, all visitors are and prospective clients are welcome to come along to the facility to see what we can offer.
